By Road

Tibenham Airfield is located 4 miles South West of Long Stratton, which is situated on the A140 Norwich to Ipswich Road.

From the North (Norwich) take the A140 South towards Ipswich. About 3.6 miles (5.8 kms) South of Long Stratton turn right at the roundabout signposted B1134. Continue along this road for 2.1 miles (3.4 kms), cross the railway and then take the second right into Plantation Road and left into Woodstock Lane.

From the South take the A12 to Ipswich and the A140 to Norwich. About 5.8 miles (9.3 kms) after the Diss turning, turn left at the roundabout signposted B1134. Continue along this road for 2.1 miles (3.4 kms), cross the railway and then take the second right into Plantation Road and left into Woodstock Lane.

By Rail

The nearest station to Tibenham is Diss, which is on the London to Norwich mainline. From here you can take a taxi to Tibenham which should take 15 minutes and cost approx £15.

By Taxi

ALM Taxis are located close to the airfield at Pulham Market, and can be booked by calling 01379 608605.

By Bus

Simonds Bus Service no. 1 runs from Tibenham to Norwich, Monday to Saturday, from the bus stop at Tivetshall Maltings Telephone box.
Services to Norwich leave at 07:35, 09:25, 12:25, 13:55 and 17:05.
Return services leave from Norwich St Stephens Street Bus Station Stand A at 11:43, 13:43, 15:43 and 18:13.

The VGC in England have written to the ferry companies, the first answer is from Overtocht.nl. We can have a 5% reduction on their net prices. Members can book from all over Europe and there are different departure ports in Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Denmark.
